Join Online SciTech Editor, Luke McGuinness, live from 8pm as he covers GenSoc’s first debate, entitled “We are our DNA”, in association with the MetaFizz and TheoSoc. Bringing in experts from a variety of fields, it hopes to discuss whether we have a say in how we turn out, or if our genes hold complete control over who we become – the classic case of nature versus nature. It is the first event of its kind organised by the societies involved, and promises to be an entertaining and enlightening evening. The event is taking place in the Thomas Davis lecture theatre tonight from 8pm, for anyone wanting to watch it live.
