Michael Foley elected next editor of Trinity News

Foley was elected last night at the Trinity News AGM

Michael Foley, current assistant editor of Trinity News, has been elected editor of the paper for the 2017/18 academic year, the 64th volume.

Michael was previously comment editor and deputy sports editor. He is a third year Law and Political Science student.

His candidacy was unopposed and, under such circumstances, he was elected to the position after a vote by the editorial staff.

Michael has been essential to the newspaper, doing extensive work on the comment section, assisting news coverage and general oversight throughout the year.

As the outgoing editor of Trinity News, I wish Michael the very best of luck with the position. His tenure will begin in early May, after the final issue of Trinity News for this year is released.
