Monáe will perform on July 3 2019

The American singer and songwriter, Janelle Monáe, was announced this morning as the next act to perform at the 2019 Trinity Summer Series. Monáe also describes herself as an activist and has taken part in a number of campaigns promoting women’s empowerment. Monáe owns her own independent record label, Wonderland Arts Society.

Monáe is also due to play London’s Wembley Arena and the Castlefield Bowl in Manchester next year. There has been speculation among some media outlets that she might make an appearance at the Glastonbury Festival next summer.
