Trinity Arts Festival emerged as the winners at the Central Societies Committee (CSC) awards, winning Best Publication, Best Poster and, jointly with Trinity Entrepreneurial Society (TES), Best Online Presence.
The annual awards ceremony took place this evening at the O’Callaghan Alexander Hotel and also saw The Phil reclaim the title of Best Large Society from An Cumann Gaelach, beating off stiff competition from DU Players, VDP and TES.
Dublin University Photography Association (DUPA) were awarded Best Medium Society and Best Overall Society, while the Christian Union won Best Small Society.
Global Development Society won Best New Society and Traditional Music Soc walked away with the award for Most Improved Society.
Peter Gillen of TES was announced as Best Individual and Abbie O’Neill won Best Fresher for VDP – the first time in years that a first year not nominated by Players has walked away with the award.
The final award of Societies’ Choice – voted on by attendees – went to Trinity Knitting Society.
