Trinity Ball tickets sell out in eight minutes

British indie-rock artist Bakar will headline on April 12

Tickets for Trinity Ball 2024 sold out in eight minutes this morning.

Tickets for the event, often referred to as Europe’s largest private party, went on sale at 9am via Ticketmaster at €91 each, the same as last year. An administrative fee of €7.55 was also charged by Ticketmaster.

Trinity Ents confirmed to Trinity News that tickets were fully sold out by 9:08am.

Students were permitted to purchase a maximum of two tickets.

Trinity Ball will be headlined by British indie rock artist Bakar.

Other acts to play at the ball include HorsegiirL, kingfishr, Charlotte Plank, SHEE, The Cope, and Bruising Shins.

From College, Tradsoc and Bruising Shins were chosen to play at the ball through a vote. MOIO, DUDJ, Trinity Orchestra, and Deep Cuts, also from College, will also play at Trinity Ball.

Trinity Ball will be held on campus despite reports last year that the ball would be moved off site due to construction works associated with the Old Library Redevelopment Project.

Current Trinity Ents officer Olivia Orr pledged to keep the ball on campus last year in her manifesto for election. On January 19 this year, Trinity Ents revealed that the ball would remain on campus.
